1930-1936 Gophers Hockey Jerseys

The Golden Gophers 1930-1936 jerseys featured a classic one color white serif font lettering sewn in an arch across the jerseys chest.  These jerseys upon first look have a "Charlie Brown" appearance with a M or a V cut in the maroon color on the jerseys upper chest.  At another glance the jerseys look like they have a built in brassiere or tank-top which makes the jersey appear awkward.  It is unknown as to why the lettering was at one time above and below the M/V as shown in the photos.  It is also unknown at this time as to when the 1925-1936 jerseys were worn for home or away since both are featured together in team photos.
